Instructor Bio’s

Kenneth Couch
Ken has been with Butte College since 1974. He teaches Computer Literacy, Programming, and Systems Analysis. He is currently the Computer Science, Drafting, and Engineering department chair. Ken received his B.S. and M.A. degrees from CSU, Chico.

Kathy Harvey
Kathy has been with Butte College since 2003. Prior to that she spent many years as an IT professional. She teaches Visual Basic programming, Network +, and the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification program. Kathy received her B.A. from Humboldt State University and her M.S. from CSU, Chico.

John Boyd Trolinger
Boyd has been with Butte College since 2001. He teaches the C++, Java, and UNIX programming languages. Boyd received his B.A. degree from the University of Texas and his M.A. from Texas Tech University.

Michael Woods
Mike has been with Butte College since 1985. He teaches Computer Literacy and Engineering. Mike received his A.A. degree from Napa College, his B.S.C.E. from CSU, Sacramento, and his M.S.C.E. from UC, Berkeley.

Sean Worthington
Sean has been with Butte College since 2002. He teaches the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification program. Sean is MCSE certified and received his A.S. degree from the Community College of the Air Force, his B.S. at Charter Oak State, and his M.S. from the University of Phoenix.

Myron Curtis
Myron has been with Butte College since 2001. He teaches the A+ Computer Repair Certification, the Network+ Certification, and the Security+ Certification courses.. Myron has MCPs in XP, Server 2003, and Server 2003 Network Infrastructure,as well as the A+, and Network+ certifications. He received his A.A. degree from Sierra Community College, and his B.A. at CSU Chico.
